UM20-120kVA series Modular UPS is different from traditional UPS in external structure. It can install all modules in standard cabinets, saving floor space and space, and facilitating installation, use and maintenance. In terms of design principles, the module UPS itself is a UPS, including rectifier, static bypass switch and attached control circuit. All power modules in the modular UPS system array bear the same system load, and each parallel module is an intelligent independent individual with built-in redundancy.
There is no need for the system controller to centrally control the parallel series. After any module fails (including the system control module), its redundancy design will give full play to its effectiveness, fully guarantee the normal operation of the equipment, achieve the greatest degree of fault redundancy, and the user can also choose redundancy with more than one fault tolerance rate as needed.
The availability of the N + X modular array machine is higher than that of the 1 + 1 stand-alone parallel machine, and the repair time after a failure is short. The modular and hot-swappable design of the UPS structure is one of the important new technical signs of the availability and maintainability of the UPS system.
